The Stuttering Foundation of America Scholarship. I received a Stuttering Foundation of America Scholarship--a competitive $3,000 award--to attend intensive weeklong training at Boston University. This training provided specialized instruction in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), enhancing my ability to deliver effective stuttering interventions. The skills gained directly supported the creation and leadership of Camp Silver-Tongue!, a transformative program for children who stutter.

ASHA ACE Award. I earned the ACE Award for completing a high volume of continuing education hours within a specified timeframe. This milestone, supported by the Boston University workshop, demonstrates my dedication to maintaining cutting-edge knowledge in speech-language pathology and strengthens my ability to develop impactful clinical and community programs.
